What Not To Do!
In the field of paranormal study and demonology, there is a laundry list of things not to do.  As in anything there is a right way and a wrong way.  Below are listed things that should not be done in the instance that there are demonic activity going on.

House Blessings- House blessings are great.  When you move into a new home you should get a blessing done by your parish priest or pastor.  It will help to protect your home and family from evil entering.  However in the case that there is already something going on, especially demonic, then a house blessing is only going to enrage a demon.  It is sort of like poking a big bear with a stick.

Psychics and Mediums- Mediums can serve a purpose in a well organized investigation.  However in most cases, mediums are either completely oblivious to demons, don't believe in them or just flat out get fooled by them.  In any respect, mediums who do not know how to discern a demonic spirit, will only make the situation exponentially worse.  Sylvia Browne is a prime example of this.

Oujia Boards- NEVER, EVER use Oujia Boards for any reason what so ever!  This also applies to using a drinking glass reading that some mediums do.  Oujia boards open up doorways to hell that must be properly closed.  They are what are known as oracles.  NEVER EVER EVER for any circumstances burn a oujia board.

Sage Smudging-  This is an old Indian ritual in which sage is bound into a stick and burnt through out a house or property.  A chant is used to beg the spirits to leave and take with them all the negative energy that they manifest.  The downside to sage smudging is that it sometimes works for short periods, but the demons always come back and more pissed off than when they left.  I beg all of my readers to do some simple deductions.  First, Indian burial grounds are some of the most evil and haunted places in America.  Second, there deities are synonymous

Challenge the Spirit-  NEVER challenge a demon.  It has the wisdom of the ages, it has unlimited strength, and will kick your sorry mortal butt.  A member of TAPS challenged a demon on an older episode of "Ghost hunters" and got pegged in the head by a TV remote control.  Other people have challenged demons and been severely injured.  Don't do it!

Communicate with the Spirit-  Never attempt communication with a spirit.  You don't know what it is and a demon will dupe you into all kinds of screwy things.  Namely acceptance so it can start infesting.

Move out-  Moving out may seem like a reasonable possibility in some cases.  As your mother probably told you though, you can't run from your problems.  Demons are no exception.  Such as in the Smurl Case a demonic spirit will just follow you.  You have to face it, confront it, and defeat it by faith alone.
