The Amityville Horror
This segment is devoted to America's most famous haunting and infestation.  The Amityville horror.  In January of 1975, after only 28 days in there dream home, George and Kathleen Lutz fled there home with there two children an there dog Harry.  However this is not the beginning or the end of the story.  112 Ocean Ave. in Amityville New York has had a turbulent history.  The property was owned by John Katchum, a scandalous figure who fled Salem during the witch trials for fear that he would be indicted for witchcraft.  One irrefutable truth is that John Ketchum had a penchant for torturing and killing captured Indians.   According to local lore John Ketchum had a secret underground dungeon where the pool currently exists, where he imprisoned, tortured, and murdered insane Indians.

The story doesn't end there with John Ketchum's death.  The property would claim 6  more victims.  On November 13 1974 Suffolk County Police were summoned to 112 Ocean Ave.  Ronald "Butch" Defeo, his wife, two daughters, and two sons were brutally murdered in there beds.  Before the end of the day, Ronald Defeo Jr. would be arrested, charged and indicted for the murders.  Ronnie Defeo as he was called, was a known junkie and alcoholic.  According to sources Ronnie Defeo only started using the drugs after the family moved to 112 Ocean Ave.  Ronnie Defeo became the target of some unseen entity.  On the night in question Ronnie Defeo retrieved a .35 Marlin, lever action rifle (a hell of a good brush busting deer rifle) and systematically went, room to room shooting every one of his family members.  Ronnie Defeo shot everyone of his family members in the head, except his mother, who was unanimously determined to have been the first one shot.  She was first shot in the stomach, then in the head.  The kicker to this story is, if some nut job is going around your house with a high powered rifle shooting everyone, wouldn't you or your neighbors hear it?  But nobody did!  Not even the Defeo's them selves.  Ronnie executed his entire family.
Although all members of the Defeo family were killed, it was speculated that Dawn Defeo had something to do with the murders.  Although this was never corroborated or proven, I personally have a tough time believing this because she was also killed in the same manner and according to the crime scene reports, none of the victims were moved.  So why would Dawn Defeo assist in the murder's then climb back into bed only to be shot herself?
On 18 December of 1975 George and Kathy Lutz moved into the house with there two children only 13 months after the DeFeo murders.  This started 28 days of hell for the Lutz family.  From the beginning the Lutz family experienced strange phenomenon such as constant cold spots, odd feelings, cabinets opening and closing on there own.  Flies showing up in Kathy Lutz's sewing room being infested with flies in December in Long Island.  Not to the extent that was shown on the movie, but still, flies in Long Island in December?  Inside or not, that is a strange occurrence.
George became obsessed with the fire place, and cutting wood in the back yard.  He began neglecting his own business and started bouncing checks.  Kathy and George who were newly weds, and had a healthy sexual relationship, didn't make love once the entire time they lived at 112 Ocean Ave.  Things culminated 28 days after moving in when the house went into a supernatural frenzy.  They fled the house leaving behind all of their furniture and personal belongings behind.  Even after they were contacted by the Warrens and other investigators they never went back into the house.  They never asked for their belongings and moved completely across the country, divorced  in 1980 however remained best friends until Kathy Lutz passed away from Emphysema in 2004.  George Lutz passed away suddenly on May 8, 2006.   The fact that they left all of there belongings, moved completely across the country, and divorced are a common trend among people who have actually been the victims of severe demonic activity.
After fleeing the house,  a host of paranormal investigators descended on the quiet Long Island community.  From the very beginning of the investigation there were basically two stand out sets of investigators.  First there was Ed and Lorraine Warren, both of them a husband and wife team, had been investigating hauntings since the 1940's.  Lorraine is one of the only tested and certified clairvoyants in the country.  Lorraine underwent testing at UCLA's center for Parapsychology and was certified as actually being a clairvoyant.  Ed and Lorraine have worked with hundreds of families and on hundreds of hauntings and infestations.  They have investigated the West Point Ghost, The Smurl Demon, The Annabelle Doll, and the Maurice Therialt case.  They even testified on the behalf of Maurice Therialt as expert witnesses in his defense case when he was being tried for the rape of his own step daughter.  Maurice Therialt was certified as being demoniacally possessed by the Catholic church in the late 1960's.

Next came the infamous Dr. Stephen Kaplan the "vampireologist".  He also investigated the Amityville case.  Now a lot of credence has been given to his work because he held a PHD.  But my opinion is he had little to no reputation as a paranormal investigator.  No experience with investigation, and certainly didn't have any concept of demonic hauntings.  However he has successfully (even in death) slandered the Warren's good names with frivolous allegations of being frauds.  Although  he himself ever accomplished anything in his life time except that cockamamie degree from that clown college.  His career as a "vampireologist" died, and so did he.  In the end it was speculated that the Lutz's made up the entire story and it was a huge hoax.  I implore you to scroll down and view my evidence that the Warrens were correct in their conclusion.

It is important for everyone to remember that this case has never been proven to be a hoax.  As can be seen in the polygraph reports published above, the information that was provided by George and Kathy Lutz is not deceptive.  Stephen Kaplan's followers beware!  Your idiot leader, was the fraud.  The Amityville case was NOT a hoax and the evidence proves this.
